I haven't delved to deep on Qi, but my BJJ instructor swears by it. He knows his stuff, so I shall believe him in a way. I don't see why it couldn't be there. If there's spirituality, why would Qi be so crazy? :)

You speak of the true form of Gracie Jiujitsu, I am familiar with the style, but not the technique. There are some advanced moves that you can learn.
Chi is energy that flows through and from the chakras, such as the Third eye , or the Thousand Petaled Lotus of infinite awareness.
